What does ATHYRAR mean?
ATHYRAR means, Regenerating Athy and Rhyl
Allow me to elaborate…
Once upon a time, in 2003, two cross bordering counties, Athy, County Kildare, Ireland and Rhyl, Denbighshire, Wales, joined together to assist in the Regeneration of the two economies. The Project’s teams identified themselves as ATHY and RAR. Hence, ATHYRAR.
What’s the significance of ATHYRAR?
The teams developed a profound, yet simple, solution to a large and very important problem—the problem being the economy of two towns in two different countries across the border from one another.
The significance of the project, however, is the core elements in which they identified as being vital to the success of the project: networking, supporting smaller sized businesses and startups, and supporting groups that needed support.
Basically, two cross-border counties came together to promote better living and did so by means of supporting businesses and groups that needed it. They did this over the course of three years.
The Objective of This Webpage is to expand on the noble efforts of ATHY and RAR by Promoting Better Living in Communities across the globe.
